The Aragon GP was characterized by strong winds that affected the performance of many riders. While Sturla came very close to securing some points by finishing at 16th position, Francesco crashed out on lap 7 due to the wind that pushed him down from his bike.

“I had a good start but on lap 7 a big wind blast that lifted the bike caused my crash. Too bad really because today I could have finished in the point’s zone.”

Sturla Fagerhaug # 50 – 16th position

“A real shame because today we could have scored some points. Unfortunately, mid way through the race, because of a strong wind I lost contact with the top group. Today I could not do better.”
