The 3 busy testing days have been very important for the Team and the Riders, because we got to work closely together for the first time, getting to know each other. The tests have been especially useful to collect data related to the Riders' technical needs and preferences; at the same time, the Riders have gained precious experience that will prepare them to be ready for the Qatar Grand Prix in two weeks time.
The weekend's epilogue has been positive, because our Riders became more familiar with the track as they could run lots of laps, although not as many as they wanted due to the cold and the instable weather conditions. However they have always shown great learning will besides constant dedication and determination in the achievement of the targets, thanks to which they have made progressive improvements day by day.
Both Sarath and Francesco are young and talented, therefore they have big potential of professional growth and development; the Team will work hard to secure them all the support they need to perform at their best. Together, we are strongly motivated to achieve important results for this last 125cc championship season.
Sarath Kumar # 69:
"Today has been very good because I made it to achieve the goal I set. In fact I lowered my yesterday's lap time of 3 seconds. The bike set-up was great and now I manage to control it well; I am very happy! The Team is helping me a lot and with little more practice I will be much faster soon."
Francesco Mauriello # 43:
"The rain, the crashes and the small troubles had with the bike unfortunately jeopardized this weekend's results that have not been like what I expected. This first experience did not begin in the best way, however it has been useful to learn something more and I certainly look forward to racing in Doha."
